COMBINING GORMET & KIDS TOGETHER
Challenge
To combine between gourmet & kids and give children access to cookbooks that feels like a high level chefs who own gourmet restaurants so that they feel super helpful in the kitchen.
Solution
Finding pictures that look "gourmet" but are actually simple and basic recipes that even children can cook. In combination with the appropriate hand font reminiscent of mother's recipe book, I was able to create the first gourmet cook book for children of its kind.
Typefaces
Both the logo and the tag line have punctuation which connects the children's world with the gourmet world, manually and personally. The use of a script font gives a personal identity, while the Hebrew serif font gives an old attitude and a feeling of the past through recipes that are passed down from generation to generation.
Photographic Language
The gourmet look - alike photographs, with the dark backgrounds, fine plating and zoom in photography technique was able to serve the right achievement designing this book.
